Bunrgreave Advocacy Now is looking for

Volunteer Community Advocates

Burngreave Advocacy Now will give to you:
• Free comprehensive training

• Expenses for travel, childcare and lunch
• Support and supervision
• Valuable work experience

What is Advocacy?
Advocates help vulnerable members of the community who are not fully accessing their rights due to barriers such as language, disability or lack of confidence. Advocates can help by making phone calls, reading and writing letters, attending appointments and giving information about other services.

You can get involved if
• You are aged 18 or over
• You enjoy helping others
• You can speak, read and write in English
• You can spare a few hours a week
